Wants them to laugh

He just wants it all to be ok. Many barriers ahead, some easy to predict, others not. He wants to laugh. He wants her to laugh, too. In his mind, he wants to plan for every rock, every trap, every dark alley. He wants to look back and laugh one day. He wants to laugh with her. He wants it all to be worth every challenge. He knows there is no easy answer, he's just looking for the best path -- of getting somewhere where he can laugh with her, nothing to hold back. It's something in his core. He doesn't want them to fail at anything. Life's full of knockdowns, he's had his fair share. He knows what it's like to be down. He just wants to do everything possible, to give them the best chance of being happy.
